(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive) - Carlos García Carvajal, Commercial Director at Worldmatch, answered some questions for SoloAzar regarding his presence at the SBC Summit Barcelona, and gave us his positive opinion about this 2022 edition, as well as pointing out the firm's expansion plan, among other topics.

Worldmatch was present at the SBC Barcelona

"I would like to congratulate the entire SBC Summit Barcelona team and we are looking forward to the new 2023 edition" summarized García Carvajal in relation to the organization of the SBC Barcelona event. He added to his analysis of it his vision on the exponential growth of the presence of exhibitors in the post-pandemic period, that although all the security protocols are maintained, he considers that "we have already left behind that period that affected us all, and we can see the existing interest in the sector to exhibit their products". He also highlighted "the large number of visitors from the sector to the fair" and the "magnificent repertoire of conferences and speakers".

Of all the activities offered by this edition of SBC Barcelona, García Carbajal prioritized the conferences, "not only for the conferences themselves, with 6 different conference centers, but also for contacting speakers at the end of the event".

When asked about the local and Spanish market and its expansion plan, he began by saying: "WorldMatch has entered the Spanish market thanks to the Orenes Group and RFranco thanks to wanabet.es" and added that "WM games are already a reality in Spain and now we are in the acceptance and negotiation phase with other national operators. We hope that in a short period of time the exposure and visibility of our content will be even greater, and the acceptance will increase because, in terms of quality and innovation, the games are indisputable. The idea of WorldMatch is based on a 2022-2024 strategic plan of penetration and expansion not only in Spain but also in Portugal".

To conclude the interview, García Carbajal told us that next week they will be at G2E Las Vegas, which starts on October 10, represented by Worldmatch CEO Andrea Boratto and its director, Gabriele de Lorenzi. He concluded by confirming that they also be present at Sigma Malta which takes place November 14-18.
